How to listen to us…

Here are a few tips on getting the most enjoyment listening to Golden String Radio at home, work or on the go.

If you’re using your computer, just click on the Loudcaster widget on the right side of the screen on our Website which takes you to http://loudcaster.com/channels/795. You can connect it to your home stereo using an 1/8″ (3.55mm) to stereo RCA cable from the output of your computer to an available RCA input on your stereo receiver.
On your mobile device install the TuneIn app, search for Golden String Radio and listen. Add the station to your presets, so you don’t have to search it each time. You can use TuneIn on iPhone/iPad, Android, Windows, Blackberry, Palm (WebOS) and Samsung Bada. Most mobile these days have a standard 1/8″ (3.5mm) stereo output. You can connect your device to your car stereo easily with an 1/8″ to 1/8″ cable if your stereo has an 1/8″ aux input. This is very common. Also, you can use your iPod cable if your stereo is an iPod controller.

Don’t forget that you can always use good old fashioned headphones, so you don’t miss a word!

Keeping in line with our theme of “Purple” I ask the question, “Have you Ever Tried a Violet Mint?” I know I have dissolved many (well, actually, I often bite them) in my mouth. Our Touch The Moon Candy Saloon, located in Downtown Youngstown, carries the famous Choward Violet Mints. The Violet Mints, a New York City staple, were created in 1930 in the Big Apple.
