Oranges: Poetry & Pop Music

Written by on August 21, 2012

This show is titled after the poem “Oranges” by Gary Soto. The show is a swirl of poetry and pop music that influences art and the world around us. Pop music will immediately follow poetry during the hour. Think Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, Bruce Springsteen, George Harris, William Stafford, Sharon Olds and William Carlos Williams all sharing a Life Savers Pop! Someone’s teeth and tongue are about to turn blue.
